Welcome to our newsletter. Here is our next new lesson creation for academic writing skills - 'Academic Style 4 STEM: AWL & Nominalisation'. We are now starting to focus some of our lessons & resources on STEM topics. STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths is becoming increasingly popular.

We created a similar lesson a couple months ago called 'Academic Style 3: AWL & Nominalisation'. This lesson is a similar format (not the same AWL words) but its content is focused on general academic English not STEM.

Academic Style 4: STEM Vocabulary 2 (AWL & Nominalisation)
This lesson is for STEM classes (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). It focuses on two key areas of academic writing: AWL and nominalisation. There are three worksheets comprising of a number of different activities to practise categorisation and reformulation at sentence and paragraph level.
