Individual Downloads

Where is my download I have just bought?

Once you have paid, you receive two links. One link appears on the webpage after payment (see image), the other is in an email. You receive two emails. One is your digital receipt (see image) and the other email is the download link (see image). Sometimes, these emails go to Junk / Spam mail.

PLEASE check junk mail before emailing us.

If for any reason you haven’t received the email or webpage link, then please contact us or use Live Chat (9-5 UK time).

How long do the paying download links stay active?

PDF Download links in an email only stay active for 7 days. Please download to you computer within this time period. This is stated in our terms and conditions.

These are PDF documents. How can I use these online?

We give you permission to convert our PDFs into Word documents but all logos and web addresses must remain on the document.

If you teach online, then Word document format is much better to send to your students than PDFs. Therefore, Academic English UK gives permission for our PDFs to be converted into Word documents for this purpose. Please keep all logos and web addresses on the Word documents. Please remember that only Institutional Membership allows you to remove our logos and to add your own signage to our documents.

I bought some lessons from you 6 months ago but have lost them - can you send them to me again?

NO – sorry but download resources are YOUR responsibility. If you lose, misplace or delete downloads, then unfortunately, you have to buy again.

How many resources / lessons are on your website?

Hundreds – At last count (August 2022) we had over 450 resources on our website amounting to a value of £800.

Please go here for detailed instructions on how to access Teacher Membership:

Webpage clear instructions: www.academic-englishuk.com/teacher-membership-access  or check our short video: https://youtu.be/zlL7k4umsNE

YES – absolutely everything. This includes all the listening materials too.

How may teachers can I share documents with?

Teacher membership is for one individual teacher only. This means one teacher only – the person who bought the membership. You can share the resources with your classes (a reasonable amount would be around 100 students). Teacher membership does not give you permission to share materials on Electronic Learning Environments only through email and OneDrive.

Institutional Membership is for schools, English departments, colleges and universitiesShare all our materials with unlimited teachers and unlimited students.

What's the difference between 1 month / 6 month and 12 month memberships?

Time – we have approximately 300 pages (pages and blog posts) on our website with over 400 resources. This obviously takes a considerable amount of time to find and download. It can be done in a month but we recommend longer to explore our resources or even use our website as your file downloading area or resource centre as you are teaching.

New material – we usually create and add new material every two weeks. 6-month / 12-month memberships means you have free access to all our new materials too!

My membership has expired - how do I renew?

Near the end of your membership term, you will receive an email of expiration. You can renew through this or just buy again. If you bought a 6 or 12 month membership, we offer 10% off your next purchase – please contact us: email

What does 'IP addresses are monitored and restricted to 5 IP addresses only' mean?

This means that you can only log in to a maximum of 5 different computers / devices at the same time. If you exceed this amount, your account will be locked for 24 hours.

Why? Because Teacher Membership is limited to one individual teacher and this prevents password sharing.
