What are the terracotta Warriors?
The Terracotta Warriors are thousands of life-sized clay soldiers created during the third century BCE to guard the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of a unified China. They form part of a vast funerary complex that symbolises imperial power, military strength, and beliefs about protection in the afterlife.
