Topic sentences, sometimes called a 'paragraph leader' or the 'controlling idea', are the first sentence of a paragraph. It is important to write a good topic sentence that links clearly to the development of main body of the paragraph.

This blog provides a lesson on an analysis of a paragraph, writing topic sentences from reading the content of a main body and finally writing the main body from a topic sentence example.
